Sometimes it's good to come back to the simple truths of Scripture.
Here's one that never gets old: Jesus Loves Me!
I reflected on this recently in my SOAP Journaling in John 15.
This is an amazing reality. The way that the Father loves the Son is the same way that Jesus loves His disciples. What a picture of ongoing, unconditional, selfless love! Then He tells them to abide in that love - to remain in it.
I need to know that Jesus loves me. I choose to receive His love for me. I will rest and remain in His love. I will not seek to be loved by others or desire their approval. I will abide in Jesus' love.
Today's Missional Challenge: Reflect on how much Jesus loves you! Remain in His love.

"Just as the Father has loved Me,
I have also loved you;
Abide in My love."

Jesus, thank you for loving me. Help me to believe that you do... and to realize there's nothing I need to do to earn or deserve your love. Amen.
