Day 31: God’s Well Done Is Worth It

Welcome to Day 31 as you
Take the Missional Challenge!

Take the Missional Challenge is a 31 Day experience designed to help align believers with Jesus’ mission. Each day’s post includes missional concepts and activities. For more information – click here.

You started to “Take the Missional Challenge” 31 days ago. Now you have reached the end! In typical American style we want to say, “Good job! Way to go! Well done!”

“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
in the future is laid up for me the crown of righteousness which the Lord,
the righteous Judge will award to me on that day; and not only to me,
but also to all who have loved His appearing.” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)

It is our prayer and our hope that as you have participated in this 31 Day experience, you’ve taken significant steps forward to align yourself with the mission of Jesus. Each day’s post was designed to present missional concepts, practical activities and specific challenges that would move you forward in accomplishing Christ’s redemptive mission.

We’ve received lots of feedback from participants in the challenge, and of course, we’d love to hear from you. You can email us directly at [email protected]

We acknowledge your efforts to complete this Missional Challenge. However, hearing us say “Good job!” is not nearly as important as hearing God say “Well done!” He is the One whom you must please. His smile should be your reward.

2 Corinthians 5 is a beautiful chapter. In verses 9-11 Paul writes, “Therefore also we have as our ambition, whether at home or absent, to be pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Therefore knowing the fear of the Lord, we persuade men.”

What is your ambition? What do you want to hear God say to you as He examines your life?

The final lesson in Six-Word Lessons to Discover Missional Living is this:

Lesson 100:
God’s Well Done Is Worth It!

What matters most when your life is over is whether you joined God in His mission.
