Here are the details from the FIND DAVID GOESER page on Facebook:
David was last seen in his UCLA-campus apartment by his roommate on the morning of Sunday, July 22, 2012, wearing casual clothing. He left without taking any identification or cell phone. He may be traveling to Mexico or to the Pacific Northwest. He recently obtained a Washington State Drivers License (March), but left it behind. He is currently under doctors’ care and needs medication.
Here are the details from CBS News report:
(CBS) LOS ANGELES – California police found a car in Pacific Palisades Wednesday belonging to missing UCLA honors student David
Goeser, CBS Los Angeles reports. LAPD said Goeser, 22, was last seen by his roommates Sunday at his residence just west of UCLA in Westwood. When family members hadn’t heard from him for over a week, they went to his home to check on him. They didn’t find Goeser, but they did say he left his cell phone, identification and credit cards at his home. Police found Goeser’s 2001 white four-door Toyota Corolla Wednesday evening in Pacific Palisades.
And from the fb page tonight:
We’ve gotten positive confirmation of David sightings on PCH, near Coral Beach and Los Leones. Though in a confused mental state, David seemed to intend to head to Vancouver, Washington.
If you live near public transportation (like a bus) or near homeless hangouts, either here or heading north, please keep an eye out for him. He may be hitchhiking. Report any possible sightings to the police.
Please pray! Please spread the word!

UPDATE SEPTEMBER 27:
Friends, we are deeply saddened to report that Wednesday, September 26, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office confirmed that the remains found this past Saturday belong to our dear son, David. Regrettably, David took his own life. While we grieve this tremendous loss, we are immensely grateful for the love and support of all who helped us in our search.
In honor of David, we invite you to join us for a special memorial service on October 6 at 2PM at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village. More information about the service and the David Goeser Memorial Fund will follow shortly on this Facebook page.
We would ask that you continue to respect the family’s privacy at this time, and we thank you for your ongoing prayers and support. You have been a true gift.
