How Church Members Are Like Airline Passengers

Today I returned from a trip to Charlotte. While I flew across the country I reflected on some similarities between church members and airline passengers.

Watch this video to see what I was thinking…

Sometimes church members act like airline passengers. They expect the church service to transport them to a spiritual destination. But don’t ask them to really get involved in the life of the church.

How might you help church members to stop acting like airline passengers andtruly get involved in the mission of the church?

Today’s Missional Challenge

Don’t just go for the ride, join in the mission. Make disciples who make disciples who make disciples.
